The Little Story

What brings us together is the taste for sharing with others, nature and discovery.

My name is Mandela: I grew up and I live in Arusha. I first went to Kilimanjaro, then I trained in Mweka (college of Africa Wildlife) to become an official guide in Kilimanjaro. I then graduated from Tour / Driving Guide And Administration. I gave English lessons and with this money I decided to take French lessons in Arusha. Of Maasai origin, I speak the language and regularly serve as an interpreter. An English- and French-speaking guide for several years, I went to the parks of Tanzania and to the top of Kilimanjaro with people from all over the world. It is thanks to all these meetings and encouragement that the idea of launching my own company has germinated. I chose the name “Tanzania ToGo Safaris.” The company is officially registered with the Tanzanian authorities. - Mandela
My name is Sibel. My mother is French, my father is Turkish. I grew up and lived in France and am very attached to both cultures. Since 2022, I live in Mayotte, where I am a teacher in mathematics. Beyond this profession (which I love), I am passionate about travel, outdoor sports and so sensitive to meeting others. I am often asked for advice on organizing trips. I met Mandela on my first trip to Tanzania, he was our safari guide. Big crush for this country, where I have been back several times since, fascinated by people, this wild nature, the hikes around and at the top of the volcano Ol Donyo Lengai, the kite surf on the island of Zanzibar, the diving on the island of Mafia. I have talked a lot with Mandela, with his guiding friends, with his nephews who want to become a guide. Mandela leaves nothing to chance and is an excellent organizer. So, naturally and in all simplicity, I proposed to Mandela to help him in the communication of the company: website, contacts, editorial.
